Lafayette Park
Lafayette City Park Boat Ramp
This is a City of Norfolk boat launch, located on the North end of Lafayette Park, on the Lafayette River. There is limited parking at the ramp itself, and I did't notice any place to park a boat trailer, but there is parking at the park parking lot about a quarter mile away.
The ramp is open sunrise to sunset, and the park parking lot open around 9.
The Lafayette River is tidal, so plan accordingly.
Considering that Haven Creek Boat Ramp, a nice new facility, is less then a mile away, you may want to use this as a back up if Haven Creek Boat Ramp is full,
