Dandy Point Boat launch

This is a large public launch, that currently provides the closest access to Grandview Nature Preserve when the access road is closed, as it has been on several visits for me. Also provides alternate access to the marshes of Poquoson.

Facilities were minimal on my most recent visit (mid March), but there is a bait shop that appeared to be opening soon.

This is a tidal area, so plan ahead.
